- You gain a unique signature skill.
- Sage's Speaker. Your proficiency bonus increases by 1 (up to a maximum of 7). You have disadvantage on saving throws whilst in possession of another Opus of the Sages. When you attempt to attune to another Opus of the Sages, you automatically fail and take 33 (5d12) psychic damage.
- Holy Vendetta. You acquire a Holy Vendetta from the Pyre. These divine quests are typically the unfinished business of a departed soul that was close to the user of this item. You have advantage on attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws when you are directly acting on or affected by your Holy Vendetta. When your intended action would delay, interfere or deny your Holy Vendetta, you must make a DC 20 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, you must abandon your intended action and focus on your Holy Vendetta.
- Retribution from Beyond. The first time you perform an act in accordance with your Holy Vendetta, it is considered a 20 on the die. You add your proficiency bonus to damage you deal in accordance with your Holy Vendetta.
