The Isanagi
The Isanagi is a massive cannon crafted by the gunsmiths of Adveri, it is known to be the single most powerful weapon created. This monstrosity is categorized as a fortress buster and was used by Adveri to assert itself as one of the powerhouses of the time.
The Isanagi was first seen used in 4E988 at the battle of Fort Dreedstone where it is said to have been carried by 20 elephants and used to obliterate the fortress in one powerful shot. The cannon was used in numerous battles since and was last used in 4E1197 at the border skirmishes between Adveri and Messenia.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
Requires rails to move, uses two hydraulic lifts to lift the massive 9-ton barrel. The gun was originally pushed by two giants or war elephants but was retrofitted with a powerful stream engine in 1012 which made it significantly more mobile.
