Futurus Sanguis

Bane of undead, bannishers of Imaterialspawns.

Futurus Sanguis is one of the oldest factions still standing in this world, originally founded early 2E. The faction has participated in nearly every large event in the known world and has almost been wiped out numerous times but has prevailed. They consist of a small to a medium sized force of very heavy armored soldiers normally equipped with a spiked shield and a longsword, a bow or twohanded battle-axes. Every soldier in this faction is especially good at fighting demonic entities.

Composition

Manpower

The organization's size has differentiated greatly over the years. The organization has consisted of many thousands of men at some point with a navy and ground army, other times it has been a group of twenty or less. the first part of 3E Futurus Sanguis could be considered a country. At this time the organization consists of roughly 200 men at a time. And about 1200 men working as scribes, squires, intelligence, spies, and workers to maintain [url=]Fort Oberich and there supply lines when the units are out hunting.

Equipment

This Organisation is known to use exceptionally heavy armor, dark metal grey in color, with a large round shield with a single silver spike in the middle.

Weaponry

Usually equipped with a longsword and a bow, but does also deploy war-hammers, spears, battle-axes, and halberdiers. Every weapon used by Futurus Sanguis is coated with silver. They also have Specialized weapons enchanted with for example Cold or Bain of undead to work better against certain foes like hellspawn or undead.

Structure

Each unit consists of 24 men, including a commander and a captain. The organization is currently lead by Gorvi Einvenhelm.

History

Futurus Sanguis is one of the oldest surviving organizational entities in the world. The organization has survived since early 2E and has fought in nearly every major even Including but not limited to: The first war against Death, The Second war against Death, The Fall of Dema(End of the 2nd Era), The Hell Kings Comming, The campaign of Haken, The fall of Deus(End of the 3th Era). The organization was founded by Fares The Crusader. Farse intended to build an elite specialized force made to fight entities from the Immaterium and undead entities.
