The Tentacle Synge of Taldefa.
Taldefans are pompous, decadent and supremely racist. So say everyone outside Taldefa. they inhabit tall, white "Spires of Supremacy." Unsubtle indicators of unconscious emotions compelling them to build higher and thicker. They worship the Tentacled Gods, led by their God of Creation and Architecture, Multroca. The Taldefans see themselves as above all mere mortals, like conventional humans. This may have lead to them killing off entire peoples in the past and covering everything up. Taldefans say they usually have slighter features and flowy blonde hair, small noses, and bigger eyes than humans. In reality, large swathes of the population don't fit this description much to the chagrin of the Eugenic Police, a body within the towers tasked with preserving proper liniage.
The Taldefan elite are perfectly happy to sit and watch their enslaved Southernblooded workers to labour in the fields as they live in comfort. Paraniod by nessecity, and supremely cruel, these overlords live on an increasingly precarious ivory tower, which is why they seem to be constantly drunk on IWNW wine.
History
The Synge was formed out of the burnt out husks of loose city-states after the Great Troll Invasions. The PLAAAGUE followed the Trolls into their camps, carried in their blood onto the armor, weapons, and skin, spreading to the soldiers, and the civilian population eventually. This genetic bottleneck resulted in spindly, blonde, bright-eyed, and corpse-white. Eventually more useful genetics returned to the knew nation of Taldefa, and the burgeoning Republic made some headway towards greatness. Mind you, Headway is not progress, and a Monarchist revolution after a failed war lead to the formation of the Synge or Syndicalist part of their name. They eventually took up the Theocratic angle much later, when the pagan religion they followed ran up against the Monotheistic Sathians, later Kelsummians.
Architectural history is long and boring and mostly consists of towers getting taller and shinier.
Military
The military of the Synge is mostly levies using simple spears and spiked shields, with intricate scaled armor, yet highly trained in the use of rock-solid formations of extravagantly colored shield walls with extremely sophisticated drum communications and opportunistic commanders with a brutally effective cavalry and shock infantry. Fortifications are a huge advantage for the architecturally gifted engineer corps, who can cough out forts in a single day. But their ranged forces of sophisticated bowmen are what truly carry the day.
Their arrows have blotted out the sun in some battles. Their arms are coiled into steel cords to stretch spring metal bows and artillery pieces the size of hills which, eviscerate their enemies at ranges comparable to small Duchies! At that level of range, and the power to crack entire castle walls with a single shot, most armies simply don't.
Infrastructure
The infrastructural achievements of Taldefa cannot be overstated, they have maintained a system of roads, waterways, pumps for transporting water up tower sides, a justice system, churches, and a border security force that can effectively prosecute those illegal, inferior lifeforms at the edge of Taldefan civilization.
Mythology & Lore
The mythology of their religion defines the ancestry of the entire Taldefan people, the descendants of Elves, owing to their unique features. This is used as a justification for their rather racist opinions and arresting people of non-Taldefan heritage without trial. They also cover the destruction of an ancient homeland and the myth of a huge conspiracy of monotheists trying to destroy the Taldefan culture.
Cosmological Views
According to the incredible and infallible Eclisiast of Taldefa, the world was spawned by Ichema the Fertility Goddess. This has sparked a huge and often brutal debate on weather or not the gods created them intentionally. The Taldefan Supremicists latch onto a now non-canonical religious text that states the gods created the Elves, the mythological ancestors of Taldefans, intentionally. The racists discovered this concept and took off in the direction of mass murder. The religious diehards on the other hand are much less... frankly pretentious, instead asserting the unintentional nature of humanity and life, so people must constantly offer souls to make their Tentacled overlords notice them.

The Taldefans rarely trade with the outside world, exceptions mentioned in the diplomacy section. The Mountain Duchies are one such exception, trading IWNW wine for gold, stone, and jewelry. They trade weapons for information with the pagan cults that dot the Ruins of Sathoth. The also export considerable quantities of Southernblood Slaves with any and all buyers.

The main import of the Synge is Southernblood Slaves. Millions of them, who are then used in agriculture or worked in architectural projects.
Legislative Body
The Theocratic Synarchist Epitomizer, the dictator, writes whatever they wish to be put into law with virtually no counterbalances aside from the Temple of Multroca and Ichema. The Theocratic part of their government.

The laws are interpreted to the logical interpretations of the Temple of Multroca and Ichema, and the enforcement of the Eugenic Police.the Synarchist part of their government.
