CODEX CRISTALLINUS - - - Level ?

The Codex Cristallinus is a reliquary tome of glass and gold important to the Knights of Prospectus, an extinct Arodenite sect that built a series of crypts beneath the Ascendant Court. It seems to "communicate" at random through gut feelings, as if it is constantly seeking out new sources of information to diffuse. The Codex can only sense what it is directly touching.

The Codex seems to be "hungry for knowledge" at all times. It cannibalized Exley's spellbook before it was destroyed, transcribing the contents into Azlanti within itself. It contains only one unique spell in itself, mnemonic siphon, the runes of which remain inscribed on its first page at all times and replenishes itself daily. It's impossible to tell if this is a feature or a bug, so to speak. It has, through unknown means, scrambled the languages Exley comprehends, possessed him, and most recently triggered a remote prophecy in Reshi through contact with a third party.

The Codex can be selected as a bonded item and used as a religious symbol of Aroden (if that still means anything). The Codex can hold up to 100 spells or additional pieces of information (any non-spell information is separated by topic and counts as 1 page per topic). The Codex Cristallinus provides access to the Eldritch Researcher archetype and contains the following spells, allowing the wizard to prepare any as arcane spells as normal.
Cantrips: join pasts, read aura, read the air
1st Level: mindlink, share lore
3rd Level: hypercognition
4th Level: mnemonic siphon (1e conversion)

Diffuse Input

Activate <1 minute> envision (arcane, divination)
Frequency once per day
Requirements The grimoire is physically touching another one or two pages of a written document, even if closed or unattended
Effect The grimoire attempts to duplicate the contents of the document into itself, transcribing the information exactly as it appears onto a blank page. If the writing is magical, make a Spell Attack counteract check against your own spell DC or you fail. If successful, this action also erases the original document, as the spell erase. Nonmagical writing is automatically erased without a check. If you fail to erase a dangerous spell, you accidentally activate that writing instead.
