Often mistaken as accursed were-creatures, beastkin are believed to be genetically descended from established populations of natural-born therianthropes. They are able to quickly alter their physical forms into their animal counterparts, adopting the appearance and abilities of a hybrid of the two. Some beastkin prefer to remain in their hybrid forms indefinitely.
