Cla Sel

Cla Sel (common: Rose Top) is the remaining structure of an elven citadel called Claenial. It sits on the bottom of the river Aldmuind and the top of a tower is the only thing still above the water surface.
Cla Sel, commonly known as Rose Top due to the enchanted rose quartz that crowned the tower, was the highest point of the citadel Claenial. The quartz was imbued with a powerful enchantment that made it glow with a soft, warm light, illuminating the tower and making it visible from a great distance. Signaling Tower: The Rose Top Tower was primarily used as a signaling point. The enchanted quartz at the top could change color based on different magical stimuli. These color changes were used to convey various messages or signals to the inhabitants of Dunenaith and incoming ships, aiding navigation along the river Aldmuind.
Observation Point: Due to its height, Cla Sel provided a panoramic view of Dunenaith and its surroundings. This made it an excellent vantage point for observing celestial bodies, monitoring the weather, and keeping an eye on any potential threats approaching the city.
Ceremonial Purposes: The tower was also used for important religious and royal ceremonies. The changing lights of the quartz during these events created a spectacle that added to the city's mystical aura. The top of the tower, nearest to the glowing quartz, was considered a sacred place where high priests conducted rites believed to bring them closer to the divine.
Today, even though the magnificent citadel of Claenial lies submerged and forgotten, the Rose Top Tower stands out of the water, a bittersweet reminder of a time when elves ruled, and magic thrived. The tower's light no longer shines, but it still serves as a guidepost for travelers navigating the Aldmuind, a testament to its enduring legacy.
