Vastante

Vastante is a mysterious dark land. The land barren and rocky and the sky rains ash down upon it making even the brightest of day looking like a moon lit tundra. Very few live here, yet the undead thrive in the ruins of advance cities to a kingdom lost to time. Though not all here are mindless thralls. Lichs, vampires, and worse thrive here. With those mortals brave enough to explore the lost land or those foolish enough to live with the undead in their dark cities. Be foolish or brave both can be said to be mad, because no mind stays untouched from the rotten corpse of Vastante.
Besides the undead, a civilization of Drow is said to have come from Vue-Tera-Sa and moved into a abandon dwarf fortress in the Monbris Mountain that resides between the Free Cities of Libertas and Vastante. The dwarfs looking to split from the 9 Mountain Kingdoms went to the only mountain not connected to the underground highway in Alune. Though the undead and dark beast never let up.
It is said the further south in Vastante you get, the less color there is till everything is just in grayscale. Not dark nor light just no color in sight. Many attribute it to the Dark Sun that resides above the Split Mountain. Not much is know of that area, it is said a forest of bones of giants and ancients ones past surround the Dark Sun. A beast far worse then any mortals mind can conjure lurk here looking to add more trees to the land.
