A massive tree with god-like power, the Spirit Tree remains in the Hollow Grove, its roots connecting to all of the forest of Nibel. Its life energy sustains the forest, and should the Spirit Tree ever die or become ill, the entire forest would wither away. To help protect the forest, it uses its quantities of positive energy to create the Spirit Guardian race, and tasks them with the protection of natural life.
