King Noleski II Surtova

King of all Brevoy, Lord of Issia, Prince of Rostland, Suzerain of New Stetvan, Overlord of Restov, Defender of the Lake of Mists and Veils, Regent of the Dragonscale Throne, Blood of the Conqueror, overlord and rightful King of all Brevoy.
Noleski I Surtova was the Lord of Port Ice until the disappearance of the last King of the line of House Rogarvia. House Surtova had a tenuous connection to the Royal House of the Conqueror, and so was able to seize the throne. Initially, this was as Regent, but as years passed and the Vanishing remained a mystery, Surtova rule became permanent and looks to remain so barring the return of the Conqueror. There are many who whisper that Noleski I was responsible for the disappearance of the last Rogarvia King and his family. It is notable that the King vanished while cruising on the Lake of Mists and Veils, a region over which House Surtova had official responsibility.Noleski remained unmarried and was succeeded by his Sister Natala, who married the widowed Lord Orlovsky, strengthening her hold on power. Married late in life, they nonetheless had one son, the current King Noleski II.
Noleski II came to the throne at the age of only 16 when his parents were both killed in The Rising. The Prince was being fostered at Grayhaven and was able to survive the chaos that nearly destroyed the kingdom.
Now nearing 70, Noleski's long and hard life have taken a toll on him, and his son Maksym handles many court responsibilities. It was Maksym who commanded royalist forces during the recent uprising.
