Grigori of Pitax

Grigori arrived in Waystone sometime in early 4777. In summer, the Town Council became aware that Grigori had been acting as an agent provocateur attempting to rouse popular discontent in Waystone. His rabble rousing mostly took place at the Golden Apple and tended to target miners. His topics of choice were usually the deal made between the Council and the Green Dragon Consortium, and a claim that the members of the Council were enriching themselves at the cost of the town.
Covarr and Kyrion abducted Grigori from his home, and placed him under guard before discussing his fate with the Council. Later, Hattie and Drak encouraged Doc Cochran to make a 'truth potion,' which assisted in interrogating Grigori. Grigori revealed that he had been sent by a person called Kassimir - an important figure in Pitax. And that he had been sent to prevent Waystone from establishing itself too thoroughly.
When the parties plan to impersonate Grigori in messages to Kassimir failed, the Council voted to allow Grigori the option of trial-by-combat to win his freedom. Drak acted as the town's champion and killed Grigori in a duel, thereby also demonstrating his worth to Valerio Aldori.
