Tyranny

Command with Dominating Authority

Adapted from SerNurp
The draconian ruler whose word is law, the powerful crime lord who controls a city’s underworld with fear and violence, and the merchant monopolizing crucial commodities all worship at the altar of Tyranny- whether they realize it or not. Those who choose to follow tyrannical deities believe it will strengthen their own authority and power as they seek to dominate the world around them. While clerics of such gods will obey the will of those who are stronger, they will often happily overthrow such rulers or gods for the chance to take dominion for themselves.

  • Training with Heavy armor
  • Proficiency in the Intimidation skill
  • Proficiency in the Martial skill

Tyrant's Command

Level 3 feature   You are the embodiment of cruel leadership. As an Action, you command your allies to attack one creature you can see that dares to stand within 10 feet of you. Any ally who hears your command can choose to obey or disobey it. If they obey, they can immediately use their Reaction to move up to 10 feet towards the target. Furthermore, until the end of your next turn, any ally who chose to obey the command has Advantage on attack rolls against the target and Disadvantage on attack rolls against all other creatures.   You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest. You can also regain an expended use when you finish a Short Rest, by expending a use of your Channel Divinity.

Kneel Before Me

Level 3 feature   As a Magic action, you can present your Holy Symbol and expend a use of your Channel Divinity, to force each creature of your choice within 30 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature gains the Prone condition and its Speed is reduced to 0 until the start of your next turn.

Ruthless Taskmaster

Level 6 feature   When you use your Tyrant’s Command feature, Allies who obey your command can deal an additional 1d4 Force damage on their attacks against the target creature, and they gain Resistance to Physical damage until the end of your next turn.

Suffer the Lash

Level 6 feature   When you take damage from an attack, as a Reaction, you can present your Holy Symbol and expend a use of your Channel Divinity to force the attacker to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes Force damage equal to the damage you took, up to twice your Cleric level. On a success, the target takes half as much damage.

Brutal Dominion

Level 17 feature   When you use your Tyrant’s Command feature, it has the following improvements.
  • You command your Allies to attack a number of creatures you can see within 60 feet of you, up to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1).
  • Obedient Allies can move up to 20 feet, instead of 10 feet.
  • The damage from Ruthless Taskmaster increases to 2d4.
