Rage

Rip and Tear with Religious Fervor

Created by Gabe Grimoire
Whoever believes in mercy against their enemy is either a fool or a coward. Destroy those who wrong you, and allow your rage to fuel your strength. After all, words mean nothing in the face of unfiltered violence.   Though Barbarians are known to use the powerful emotion of rage, Rage Clerics revel in it and worship the very gods that give the emotion its power.

Sibling of Wrath

Level 3 feature   You learn one of the following cantrips of your choice: Fire Bolt, Thorn Whip, or Primal Savagery. You also gain Proficiency in the Intimidation or Martial skill (your choice).

Restless Fury

Level 3 feature   Whenever you make a melee or ranged spell attack as an Action, you can instead make the attack as a Bonus Action. The spell attack must be from a Cleric spell you cast, and of a level no higher than half your Cleric level. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.

Invoke Ferocity

Level 3 feature   As a Magic action, you present your Holy Symbol and expend a use of your Channel Divinity to instill wrathful fury in the hearts of nearby creatures. Each creature within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, for the next 1 minute, the creature has Advantage on all attack rolls they make and has their Critical Hit Range increased by 1, but all attack rolls against them have Advantage. This effect ends on a creature early if you die or if their emotions are magically calmed (i.e. the Calm Emotions spell). You can also, as a Bonus Action, end this effect early on a number of creatures up to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1).

Vengeful Strike

Level 6 feature   When you are damaged by a creature, as a Reaction, you can cast a level 1 or lower Cleric spell against that creature. The spell must be one that makes a melee or ranged spell attack, and on a hit, you deal additional damage equal to your Proficiency Bonus + your Wisdom modifier.

Explosive Anger

Level 17 feature   Your rage becomes not only palpable, but literally combustive. As a Magic action, you enter a state of pure anger that lasts for 1 minute or until you dismiss it as a Bonus Action, or gain the Incapacitated condition. While in this state, you can’t maintain Concentration, and you reduce all Physical damage you take by your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1). When you leave this state, the rage boiling within you explodes, dealing 1d10 Fire damage to all other creatures within 40 feet of you for each round you were in the state. A flammable object hit by this damage starts burning if it isn’t being worn or carried.
