Street Gangs and Territories

White Crest is a large city with many neighborhoods controlled by criminal elements. These include:
  • Neo-Samurais: This gang is primarily made up of Japanese expatriates who want to keep their cultural identity alive. They often wear traditional Japanese clothing and carry katana swords as a symbol of their samurai heritage. They are known for their strict code of honor and their involvement in extortion and smuggling.
  •
  • Blood Dragons: This gang is comprised of fans of cyberpunk and fantasy media, particularly those featuring dragons. They are known for their elaborate tattoos and cybernetic implants that resemble dragon scales and wings. They specialize in smuggling and hacking, and are often hired by corporations to break into rival companies' networks.
  •
  • The Tribe: This is a group of Native Americans who have banded together to protect their cultural heritage in a city that often ignores it. They are known for their intricate tribal tattoos and jewelry, and their use of traditional weapons like bows and arrows. They often clash with the Neo-Samurais over territory and resources.
  •
  • The Rebels: This is a group of anarchists who reject the authority of both the government and corporations. They are known for their punk-style clothing and dyed hair, and their use of homemade weapons like Molotov cocktails and pipe bombs. They often target corporations and government buildings in their attacks.
  •
  • Los Guerreros del Sol (Warriors of the Sun): The gang members now adorn themselves with traditional Aztec tattoos, wear feathered headdresses, and use traditional Aztec weapons. They still engage in drug trafficking, extortion, and other criminal activities, but now they incorporate Aztec symbolism into their rituals and practices. The gang leader is now known as the "Cuauhtémoc," after the last Aztec emperor, and their headquarters is adorned with murals depicting Aztec warriors and gods.
