Cheng Yen announces plan to launch 10 Arks

After witnessing the exit of the Mishima Corporation, SSS Corp and the Spes Consortium, the Xia Kongjian Dynasty knew they were the last option for most people on Earth.  They reveal a global campaign, that Xia Kongjian will be launching ten arks, each with the capability of harboring 100,000 people. This will the be the largest global exodus known to man.   With the newly acquired tech from the Edenist, Xia Kongjian knew they could utilize most of it's space to carry people as opposed to the resources required to keep people alive for over 20 years, doubling the capacity of previously launched Arks. There was a hitch though, to have a spot on one of Xia Kongjian Corporations Arks, you had to sign your life over in indentured servitude until an estimated 10 million credits was paid off. If you couldn't pay this debt off before your life ended, then your offspring would have to take on the remaining debt.   While there were some people capable of paying outright for a ticket, or at least close to, it's estimated 99.5% of people who signed up for a spot would be in debt for generations.   Also, despite offering this worldwide, it appears that Xin Kongjian certainly favored Chinese citizens, only taking a small minority of citizens from other countries.
