Earth Becomes Uninhabitable

While it took a while to verify it is known that Earth became uninhabitable shortly after exodus of 5 major groups launched arks.

With no one to maintain systems, nuclear winter in full effect, global warming in full swing, ice caps fully melted, vegetation dead and most wildlife extinct, Earth has become a barren wasteland. While it is known that there were some people on Earth who tried to hang on, it is believed that the remaining population only lasted a few more years due to lack of food, increasingly deadly radiation and disease.
