Hoth

Spes Consortium was originally made up of scientists (nerds).  So, yes, this planet derived it's name from the fabled 100 movie saga, Star Wars.

Geography

Small ice planet with subterranean oceans.  Atmosphere is breathable once below the rocky and glacier like surface do to large swaths of algae and fungi which produce oxygen.  The gravity is light here, being about 60% of Earth's.  Most towns and cities are built in crevices and caverns.

Fauna & Flora

Almost all fungi and algae are edible, and bioluminescent.  It is said there are caverns that glow as bright as a day on earth but no evidence has been brought forth to show it.

History

The Spes Consortium originally settled here to house the massive computer network system that would power their AI, Prodigy.

Tourism

Travelers will typically come here to experience the vast underground ocean network, attracting high profile spelunkers.
