Polemarch Alexi Myron

Polemarch Alexi Myron is a hero among the people of Argyra, even though she never got to see the nation flourish herself. She was born a simple farmer. Her strength, wit, and resolve would later lead Alexi to becoming the Polemarch of Iroas' army, as well as his champion. Alexi is credited with saving the Oureans from Mogis' army during the Brothers' War, and dealing the final blow to Polemarch Athansios.

History

Alexi's Birth (27 BKD). Alexi was born on Thriambrion the 5th, 27 BKD, in Yrossi. Back then the village wasn't apart of Argyra, but was instead founded durring Traxian rule. She lived on a farm with her family, including her older brother, Athansios.
Alexi's Induction (9 BKD). Alexi was raised to be a simple farmer. But she proved to be a talented and passionate fighter as well, often proecting her and others' fields from local monsters. This eventually got the attention of the local Traxian military. When Alexi turned eighteen she was inscribed into the military without much say of her own, and sent off to nearby training grounds.
Liberation of Mankind (5 BKD). When the rebellion against Trax begun, Alexi was one of many sent off to repell the forces. Alexi wanted the Archons of Trax gone as much as most people, so she used her position to sell out and betray the Traxians. She was luckily never caught, and her efforts were appreciated after the war.
The Brother's War (5 BKD--5 AKD). For awhile, Alexi searched for her brother, who disappeared during the rebellion. She eventually gave up, and went back to a life of farming, even admist the Brothers' War. She was asked to get involved a few times, but only agreed after Mogis' army attacked Yrrosi.

Iroas' Call, Battle for Ourea (5 AKD). In only a few years, Alexi rose through the ranks of Iroas' army. Near the end of the war, she was promoted to Polemarch. Only weeks after this, she was approached by one of Iroas' oracles. The oracle came bearing Bulwark of Brotherhood, Iroas' very own shield. The oracle said that Iroas chose Alexi for an important mission, and gifted her the shield.
The oracle explained that Alexi's older brother, Athansios, was a newly appointed polemarch of Mogis' army. Athansios was leading his army to Ourea, a settlement in the north where many refugees of the war were currently hiding. Alexi set out to stop her brother, using winged bulls and lions to get there in time.
What followed was a bloody, brutal battle. Many died, yet the Oureans and refugees were safe thanks to Alexi's initiative. When they reached the top of Ourea, an angry Keranos gifted Alexi his lighting bolt, Ephinany. Alexi first struck out at Athanasios, killing him immediately. Epiphany then spread, killing the rest of Mogis' hopolites in the remaining area. With that, Alexi's army won the war, and finally put a stop to Mogis' violence.
Argyra's Founding (5 AKD). After the victory of Iroas' army during the Brothers' War, Polemarch Alexi created the Council of Vigilance. She appointed herself and four other generals as it's members. The Council established Argyra as a nation, and made Ourea their capital, renaming it "Storm's Peak". Over the years the city would continue to grow and grow alongside it's nation.
Alexi's Death (5 AKD). Sadly, Alexi would not survive the long after war. She wasn't a worshipper of Iroas or Kernaos, so weilding their items took a great toll on her body. That, plus many other injuries sustained during the battle would lead to her slow and agonizing death.
To this day, Alexi's story is told all throughout Argrya. A golden statue of her sits outside the Summits Chamber in Storm's Peak.
