Aeva

Generations ago, the Gods betrayed the fledgling world of Aeva, striking at Aevathia, Grand Archdryad and Guardian Spirit of the planet, ending her life. Generations ago, the first God was slain, killed by Aevathia in retaliation, their divine lifeblood serving to stabilize the planet and allowing it to survive without her, but also simultaneously opening a pathway to resurrection, reincarnation, for the fallen Archdryad. Generations ago, using the left-over lifeblood the planet placed shackles on the surviving Gods, weakening them and preventing retaliation against those living on the planet. Those shackles are weakening, breaking, as the lifeblood absorbed by the slain God runs dry. Without more lifeblood, without Aevathia's reincarnation, the planet will die, and with it, every bit of life that calls Aeva home.
