Ostrium

Ostrium is a big country ruled by the military. Three military chiefs are the ones in charge of the country. One military chief for the navy, one for the army, one for the air force. Ostrium's army is extremely powerful and often rents out its forces to other countries in case of rebellions or if they need protection from other threats.
In the past, Ostrium used to train flying creatures, like Rocs, for its air force and used those in battle. But since airships have recently been invented, Ostrium has been using them more and more for their air force. Now they require less animals, which are a lot more unpredictable during fights and take longer to train.
Ostrium is a rather mixed country. It has a large mountain range, many rivers, several forests, cliffs and even a snowy area. There are barely any hot temperatures all year around in Ostrium. Even during the summers, the hottest temperatures are barely enough to get you sweating.
Ostrium is very organized and orderly. The government has total controll and all citizens are obligated to enter the military for a time once they've reached adulthood, some elect to stay in the military while other choose to work the normal jobs like baker or smithy. Many different types of races live in Ostrium although humans make up the largest amount.
