Locksley is currently a talking fox, but he's also a human trapped in a magical prison of his own making. He stole from the wrong hag and wound up imprisoned in Baba Yaga's hut, transformed into a fox, until the Companions helped him escape. In reality, Locksley is a daring thief, charming but also an insufferable braggart, willing to put himself in extreme peril when he has an audience, confident that his speed and cunning will carry him through.
