High Chancellor Liora Valewyn, the current leader of the Citadel of the Dawn, is widely respected for her fierce combat skills and strategic mind. Originating from Dawnspire, Verisara’s capital, Valewyn’s journey began as a celebrated Hunter, where her tenacity and tactical insight quickly set her apart. Her most iconic achievement as a Hunter was Valewyn’s Stand at Glistendell, where she single-handedly confronted the Aethertitan known as the Obsidian Serpent. Utilizing her advanced knowledge of Aetheric luring techniques, she crafted a specialized bait to lure the titan into a narrow pass, exploiting its vulnerabilities with surgical precision. This victory not only saved countless lives but also inspired new techniques in Aethertitan hunting.

Her success in the field propelled her to leadership, and she was named Grandmaster of the Citadel of the Dawn ten years ago. Since assuming the role, Valewyn has introduced sweeping reforms to the Citadel’s training regimen. Recognizing the complexity of Aethria’s political landscape, she integrated diplomacy and tactical negotiation into Hunter training, preparing new recruits to handle not only physical threats but also delicate political situations.
