Finn came from the Kingdom of Eldenmere and was 20 years of age when she first came to the Citadel. She’s a changeling rogue, born from a mother who is skilled in magic and stealth, Eliana, and a father who was a trained assassin, Roderick. They traveled all over Eldenmere offering their services and raising Finn until Roderick took a job outside of Eldenmere when Finn was 9 and never returned. So that she could make enough money Eliana opened a shop in a town, Argenia, hidden deep in the forest, making potions and offering her magical services so she could raise Finn. The Citadel managed to find her and she accepted a spot in the school, allowing Eliana to go off in search of Roderick.
Finn is sneaky when it comes to her emotions and actions, but feels deep affection for those who make an impact on her life. Her goal is always to have a good time, learn things she thinks are useful and fun, and see everything the world has to offer.
During her year away from the party, she traveled with a group of women hunters mainly in the Isles of Marisara and the Freeholds of Jarnrok. They all formed close bonds, with Finn falling in love with one of her companions, a half elf Ranger named Nehemia. After the group had a particularly rough encounter with a beast in Jarnrok where the group was all severely injured, they were called back to the Citadel and split up, with Finn having to say goodbye to Nehemia and rejoining her original crew.
“Gorgon Falls” would be a term that Nehemia and Finn would recognize as being important to them both. It is the place in the Isles of Marisara where they, along with their party, had their first fight with an Aethertitan. They fought a Thunder Griffin and Finn did a backflip off of the waterfall to impress Nehemia, making her laugh for the first time. Nehemia also has a companion beast, a black panther named Wallace who rarely leaves her side and likes to swim.
