Aberrant Horrors are the result of a humanoid becoming an aberration. Able to break free from the physical restrictions the material plane imposes on them, they morph and shift their components of their form on a whim. This makes Aberrant Horrors a terrifying figure to behold, especially in battle. Many adversaries have been caught off-guard when a seemingly defenceless opponent has grown rows of bone-like weapons in a flash.

In my quest to find a cure for The Rot I have stumbled upon something far greater. Far more powerful. Far more enticing...

In official reports from the City Watch of Prethos it was discovered that Dr. Kumo was conducting experiments on samples of leviathan meat and fusing them to pieces of living tissue. These experiments resulted in what were termed Aberrant Horrors also known on the streets as Pups, due to them being the 'off-spring' of leviathans. Dr. Kumo was arrested after one of his neighbors during their rooftop party heard screams. This case has also been adapted into a story in the 'Red Candles' series along with A Hundred-One Candles. and The Bodies of the Red Fields.

Their bodies can twist and reshape itself at a thought, transforming body parts into dangerous weapons, useful features and other forms. However, undertaking these adaptations is an exhausting process.
