Bronzebraves Military Formation in Aetheus | World Anvil

Bronzebraves

This goblin infantry was named after one of the heroic goblin fighters, Shivo the Brave, that wore an old and rusted bronze armour during the Three Great Revolutions. Nowadays, they are distinguished by their bronze chain-mail, bleached-white leather armour, wide-brimmed helms and green-red cloaks; usually armed with spears, shields and short-swords. They stand as the main military force of the Bronzimm Concord, trained and expert fighters, trained from Carpe Maris in the First Legion Arena. Within the Bronzebraves, the hierarchy of command and leadership is as follows: At the bottom, rests the Clubbers - they form the standard unit and infantry of the Bronzebraves. They are usually identifiable by their white war-paint & short-cloaks, but mostly by their distinguished weapon, the Maquahuitl, a 14-inch long club with sharp serrated obsidian, bone or flint teeth that was said that it could take off the head of a horse in a single blow. They carried blow-guns & poisoned darts to subdue fleeing criminals & small-medium beasts, as well as crossbows & bolts. Above the Clubbers, are their squad leaders, the Sergeants, otherwise known as Red Crests. Dubbed so due to their helmets being fashioned like the Hadrosaurus, with its single metal crest painted in red (like a mohawk). They carried their Maquahuitl, but also carried Tepoztoppli, long-spears that is said to pierce thick hide and even armour easily. Above the Sergeants, are the Lieutenants, otherwise known as the Tri-Horns. Dubbed so due to their visored-helmets being fashioned much like a Triceratops, with three-pointed horns denoting their rank. They usually wore a long-cloak, and had bony-Ankylosaur shields.  Above the Lieutenants, are the Generals, the highest rank in the Bronzebraves, otherwise known as the Five-Horns. Dubbed so due to their visored-helmets, fashioned after the Pentaceratops, with three small horns and two long-protruding horns made of iron to denote their rank. They were usually in full bronze-plate armour, chain-mail, and wore a prized and exotic tiger or jaguar pelt to denote their rank. They are equipped with pure and refined obsidian blades.
