Dawnbreaker - Person

Given to the Arketts he waited. For years and years he would call out for anyone who could hear his voice. He had no knowledge of its creator's plans, only that he needed a friend and someone to protect. Over time he began to despair. No one could hear him. He was surrounded by people who only wanted to use him for power. So many times they would try, But if his voice could not reach them they were not worthy. Eventually there was a change in atmosphere. The Arketts became more desperate. Something was coming and they were afraid. Plans were devised for his use oblivious to the life within. A youth was being prepared so that he may claim Dawn. But then one day, a young boy came into the chamber calling out for someone. He called out saying he heard a voice that didn't want to be alone anymore. Dawnbreaker spoke and the boy heard. He came to the altar and asked his name. He gave it and asked for his. The boy's name was Jarock. He takes Dawnbreaker by the hilt and frees him from the altar. From the moment the boy touched him Dawn felt his incredible power. He also started to sense his feelings and heart. He feared that power. He had suffered and been alone for so long. And that moment he knew this was who he waited for. The Synchronization between them was interrupted by an Arkett who burst through the door. He saw them together and was filled with dread. He asked his son to put Dawn back telling him it was dangerous. As one they told him no. They would not be alone anymore. The Arkett drew his weapon. They resisted, but the process was still incomplete. The father overpowered them and knocked the boy out. Dawn's physical form dissipated in a flash of starlight. While Jarock was out cold the sync completed. Though he didn't have a physical form, the two became best friends. When the Arketts learned what they had done they tried to pull them apart with a glove. The pain was agonizing. The torture snapped something in Jarock and all hell broke loose. Creatures came and attacked everyone. Dawn was helplessly trapped in the clutches of the glove until someone unexpected came to his rescue. It was Kalarock. He returned Dawn to his son at the cost of his life. His final request was for him to help his son find freedom. Jarock fell to the lower plain becoming an amnesiac with Dawn trapped in his subconscious. Because of the glove their connection was almost completely severed. For the longest time they couldn't hear or reach each other. It wasn't until a moment of great distress that Jarock instinctively drew on his powers and reconnected with Dawn. It wasn't a perfect connection, not yet. He couldn't communicate with him directly, but he managed to warn him of dangers through his instincts. To his friend it was a random voice, a thought, in his head. The key to fully recover was for Jarock to remember his name. Once he did the connection would be restored. They would fight side by side against many forces. All the while Dawn would keep his fallen state in check until he was ready to control it entirely.
