In the darkest days of the Riftspawn's reign over Aetheria, a young halfling named Fortuna lived a life shadowed by fear and oppression. Enslaved by the Riftspawn, she spent her days yearning for the freedom she had only heard of in hushed tales – a freedom that seemed as vast and boundless as the ocean she dreamed of but had never seen.
Her world was one of confinement until the day Aldora, the liberator, came. In the ensuing battle for freedom, Fortuna's courage and determination caught the eye of Onasis, the god of Fortune, Adventurers, and Luck. She was chosen as his Champion, a role that ignited a newfound strength within her.
As the Riftspawn were defeated and Aetheria began to heal, Fortuna's thoughts turned to the vast, unexplored oceans. With Onasis's blessing, she gathered a crew of like-minded souls, and together they built a fleet of ships, each a small bastion of the freedom they had fought so hard to win.
