Description

  Pyronis, known as The Everburning Forge, embodies the raw power of fire, the transformative nature of steam, and the relentless drive of industry. This deity represents the burning heart of creation, the hiss of productivity, and the unyielding spirit of craftsmanship that defines Ironclad Heights. Pyronis is often depicted as a colossal figure of living metal and flame, their body a furnace of endless energy. Steam billows from joints in their form, and their eyes glow like molten Pyroclastic Steel. Their voice is said to be the roar of a thousand forges, and their footsteps leave trails of cooling metal.

They are often found overseeing great works of construction, managing complex industrial operations, or embarking on quests to discover new resources and materials. Many serve as master craftsmen, teaching others the arts of metalworking and engineering. Devotees of the Everburning Forge are known for their incredible endurance, unwavering determination, and skillful hands. They often work in forges, factories, and engine rooms, using their connection to fire and steam to fuel the heart of Ironclad Heights' industry.

Holy Text

  "The Pyronomicon" is the primary holy text of the Everburning Forge. It is said to be etched onto plates of indestructible metal, forged in the heart of a volcano. The text glows with inner heat when read, and steam rises from its pages, carrying the scent of molten metal and productive industry. It is said that truly devoted followers can feel the beat of Pyronis' great forge hammer as they read, inspiring them to greater feats of creation and industry.  

Temples

  Temples to the Everburning Forge are often massive industrial complexes or towering structures of metal and stone, constantly alive with the sounds of hammering, the hiss of steam, and the roar of furnaces. These sites feature enormous forges, intricate pipe systems carrying steam and molten metal, and vast workshops where followers create wondrous devices and structures. Many temples include training facilities for aspiring craftsmen, showcases of master-crafted items, and ever-burning flames said to be lit by Pyronis himself. The most sacred inner sanctums are said to connect directly to the molten core of Ironclad Heights, where the purest and strongest materials can be forged.  

Relationships with Other Deities

  The Everburning Forge maintains strong relationships with deities of craft, strength, and earth. It finds particular kinship with gods of volcanoes, metallurgy, and determination. However, it stands in opposition to deities of water, sloth, and unbridled nature, seeing them as forces that quench the fires of progress. Pyronis often finds itself in a complex relationship with deities of innovation, respecting their drive for progress but sometimes clashing over methods and traditions.
