Osterian Ships

These are ship sthat can be encountered in Osterian space, and in certain distant sections of Federation space.  Osterian vessels are generally too large for conventional gate travel, and they often use their own wormhole technology to travel between systems. Their tremendous ship sizes tend to defy conventional ship classification.
  Meteor Gun
A form of coil gun developed by the Osterians. Their favorie ammunition is a stone bullet which developes a plasma sheath as it is accelerated.
  Plama Beam Cannon
Another specialty weapon of the Osterians. Instead of blasting out plasma like a flamethrower, the ancient reptiles have managed to confine it into powerful, very destructive beams which are nasty to shields and hulls alike.
  Agath-Mallar Clanship
The Dagger-tooth  clanship, known as the Jaws of Death, is a vicious, crescent-shaped vessel with two extra forward projections in the front middle that can open and close like massive metal jaws that can crush smaller ships between them.
  Gutar-Nef Clanship
The name of the Armor-Back clanship translates into other languages as 'Unbreakable'.  The somewhat hamburger-bun-shaped vessel does indeed have some incredibly impressive armor and defensive systems. It is difficult to imagine defeating one of these mountain-sized vessels from the outside with conventional weapons.
  Jolzar-Nef Clanship
The Horn-Head clanship looks like a legless beast with a downward-pointing, heavily armored head.  as though the ship was built for ramming. The name translates as 'Unstoppable'. They often have massive greenhouses along their back.
  Kakaris-Tyreg Super Carrier
The name of the Scythe-Claw's favorite class of vessel translates to 'King of the Hunt", though accounting for genders in these translations is difficult, so it could just as easily be 'Queen of the Hunt', or the like. The ship looks like a massive, fierce reptilian head with powerful jaws and a thick snout. Unlike with the Agath-Mallar, however, the jaws of the Kakari-Tyreg are not functional.  Instead, the vessel has a masive fighter bay capable of launching dozens of fighter-craft, each around the size of a conventional gunship from the Authority or Federation.  Despite the inherent risks involved, the Scythe-Claws often like to pilot their craft personally.
  Sare=Gatina Clanship
The Skyfalen Clanship, also known as the 'Great Mother", resembles a truly titanic pterodactyl.  The ship is disturbingly quick and maneuvrable for its size, and it is capable of atmspheric flight.
  Zalecgatra Clanship
The name of the Web-Hands clanship translates to something like 'star-sea' or 'space-ocean'. The vessel looks like a 9.47 KM-long metal inflatable lifeboat, with a transparent metal cover over the central depression, which always houses a planet-like environment featuring a large body of water.  There is no word regarding whether the clan-ship itself could actually float.
