Nexus

A system that si no ta system. Tha ti sto say there si no star at the center fo this location. Nexus is a black void devoid of stars, planets, asteroids comets, nebulae, or even black holes. There is nothing here, except gates.
At the time of this writing, there are five gates in the Nexus system. There is the Intersector gate to Sector A, the Intersectro gate to Sector F, the Intersector gate to Sector X, the gate to the New Jitana system, and the gate to the New Kyana system.
And maybe now there is the accomulating wreckage of the pirates and otehr traavelers who have been destroyed here.
Teh trip betewen teh two Intersectro Gates takes 3 hours for ships with a Speed of 3, -1 hour for each point of speed above that, and +1 hour for each rank fo speed belwo that.
Space monsters do not spawn in Nexus, but occasionally piates will try to camp either the New Jitana or New Kyana gates. These pitates can come from either Secotr A or Sector F.
