Rhyzeal Stream:

This stream is found throughout the kingdom. It is the most significant around the Glazed Temple as that's where the Varcanai Healers utilise the stream's abilities to continue their work of miraculous healing granted by the Starlight Veil. The saer stream was blessed by the Starlight Veil and Caelorian Avialgeontrix and infused with natural starlight, making its properties highly valuable and beneficial.

Purpose / Function

The purpose of Rhyzeal stream is to continue running throughout the kingdom offering its substance to the high elves, so that they can forge weapons, create wholesome decorations in homes, and heal injured elves, native and travellers alike.

Alterations

The only alteration ever made to Rhyzeal stream was its changing from clear to silver in 2732 NE.

Architecture

There is no architecture to the stream, for it is entirely natural. The only structure around the stream is a slight elevation of stone or land to ensure the stream remains in its allotted directional lane.

Defenses

Rhyzeal Stream doesn't require protection, for it is a natural landmark that runs throughout Aethel Caeloria. While some elves may want to steal the substance, it would be impossible because unless refined and handled by elves who have studied the essence, it would simply change into water upon leaving the kingdom. However, if the saer has been forged by Varcanian blacksmiths or stitched by Varcanian tailors, the item will remain in its most authentic and robust form. The same applies to Varcanai Healers who use saer to heal the most far-off injuries.

History

2732 NE:

• Stream Transformation: The clear stream changed into Saer silver.

13 NE:

• Soft to Thick: The stream of Aethel Caeloria changed from saer to blue blood upon the Ashen’s touch.

11 NE:

• Godless Beings: The stream created ungodly disfigured elves killed in the War of Faith’s so far, dragging living elves into its waters and drowning them instantly.

100 VO:

• The Stream Restored: The Caelorian Avialgeontrix, Mydha, and Athominia used a quarter of their abilities to restore the stream to its original state and infuse it with natural starlight, changing it into saer while making it even more powerful.

1000 VO:

• Rhyzeal’s Temperament: King Rhyzeal Aalarelai of Aethel Caeloria was a calm elf and enjoyed nature, thus officially named the streams flowing throughout the kingdom Rhyzeal Stream.

Tourism

Elves from other lands tend to try and steal saer, but it is of little use to them once they leave the kingdom, for it has not been appropriately refined. Once elves leave the kingdom with unrefined saer, it turns to water.

Rhyzeal Stream: This stream runs throughout Aethel Caeloria, offering its powerful substance to the high elves.

The Three Stars' Restorative Gift: After the end of the War of Faith's, the Caelorian Avialgeontrix, Mydha, and Athomina used a quarter of their powers to restore Rhyzeal Stream and make it more potent for future use by the high elves.
