House Coldcrest had taken control of Vanreth in the latter half of the Winter War, wrestling it from House Duskshard. Support had been waning but Coldcrests strong military and alliances in the south kept a buffer zone between them and their opponents.    Weakness at home led to uprising in Anchorpoint by a large cult who rallied various brigands to quickly take the throne. Led by an elven woman and her companion, a wyvern rider who seemingly didn't come from Requiem, this group was called the Order of Ethereals and were seeking to unleash a path into the ethereal plane.    Vanreth erupted into conflict, Anchorpoint was a warzone, and a group of 4 heroes rallied troops from a variety of houses as the Orders forces expanded outward and attempted to gain control of key areas. This group of 4 were as follows: Ilikan, a Goliath from the Hastlands. Orithina a high elf from Vanreth. Applevaun or "Apple" a gnome druid. And Quaf Thunderhawk, an Owlin from a small house. These 4 would mount the defence of Skysword, and lead their group called Alpha to Anchorpoint and defeat the cult. Orithina would marry the matriarch of House Scaleswept, who would take the throne for a couple of years before quietly seceding it to a renewed House Ashwell.
