Smokewatch

Originally Smokewatch was built as a fortress and outpost, set to watch the Divide for draconic invasion by house Duskshard. As it continued to exist it started to prosper, farmers moved into the surrounding land, traders stayed longer, and a town formed around it. Now, Smokewatch if a town built into a fort - using its walls, bunkers, and military installations to support its infastructure and keep the occupants safe from draconic raids. Those raids are still prevelant today, and the town oftens goes into lockdown. 
Smokewatch suffered heavily during the war of the dragon, and was fully taken by Khalzuth and his forces. Though recaptured, the scars still remain and Smokewatch is still rebuilding. They have help from House Hallowreaver, one of the founding military houses assigned to Smokewatch during its formation.
