Silverbloom

Silverbloom is a silver leafed weed that sprouts up in natural environments after the failed casting of a spell or moderate amount of unhinged arcane energy. Silverbloom seeds quickly sprout after a magical incident, stealing nutrients and taking local ground cover.
Silverbloom uniquely shifts planar energy when in large amounts, and can create random rifts into other planes - taking or pulling things with it. This will cause another magical event, and can sprout more Silverbloom.
Silverbloom is a pest, and dealt with quickly by those who see it. It's eaten by rabbits, deer, and local draconic creatures.
If something capable of magic is in the range of Silverbloom, its leaves will shake and rattle with a distinct buzz.
Silverbloom is used as an arcane ingredients in many spells or enchantments.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Short weed, 4 large and jagged leaves sprout from the base. Its leave are a silver colour. A single steam leads a puffy purple flowered head.
