Lightning Dust

Lightning dust is an arcane material that is formed when magical lightning strikes sand. The arcane energy seems into the small sand particles, creating a sizzling and bright blue substance. This is often found during crackle sandstorms or in the lairs of blue dragons. Those exposed to small quantities of it gain some light arcane abilities, while exposed to larger quantities of it can grant extreme arcane abilities that are often very dangerous and extremely painful.
Lightning dust is harvested to create the drug esher.
Large amount of lightning dust in the air can cause spells not associated with thunder or lightning to be less effective.
