House Duskshard
One of Vanreths oldest houses, Duskshard has been a powerful player in the political stage within the kingdom. Built off the backs of a strong farming and trade industry combined with a strong alliance with a pair of other houses, Duskshard has proven a few times that it has the power to control Anchorpoint. It's hefty military presence is not to be scoffed at, and it uses said military to great effect. As one of the houses most often dealing with draconic incurssions, Duskshards military is filled with veterans with far more experience than their counterparts elsewhere.
Duskshard would rule and command throughout the first half of the Winter War, but would fall out of power thanks to house Coldcrest. During the War of the Dragon, Duskshard would be thoroughly tested by draconic forces but would come out as a strong player for the throne before the Ashwells finalized their own alliances.
