Guardian
Guardian is one of the 4 sentient blades crafted by Solaris.
A rapier whose blade is a deep red, with a basket hilt featuring the shape of a heart made of golden mithril, Guardian is an elegant blade in its shape and design.
Guardian takes a feminine voice, a soothing and caring voice, only heard by the saint who wields her. She will not be used in anything other than the defence of life and light. She radiates daylight when drawn, and its said her strikes can topple the strongest of undead and even bring people back from death.
Guardian is a blade of family, of love, and of light. She is a weapon to be used to protect ones home and hearth, to protect a family from darkness.
Parents tales to their children of Guardians saints using her to defend homesteads, stop undead, and light a path in the darkness.
"Guardian be with you." is a popular form of goodbye.
Guardian is currently being wielded by the living saint Carradoc Burrows, the first Halfling saint.
