Frovar the General, First Saint of Mercy
Frovar is said to have originally been a prisoner of Solaris, who was raiding human territory before the human lords rebelled in hopes of gaining supplies for the Orcs guerrilla war with the Empire. Half orc, half elf, Frovar was said to be quite cunning in his version of warfare. Enough so that Solaris freed him and made him a trusted adviser and general during the war proper. And when the war ended, Solaris granted Frovar the sword Mercy - making him the first saint.
Frovar would lead the fledgling alliance of houses, helping the young Lyfelde (though years out from their actual taking of the lands) secure territory and create diplomatic relations that helped found the kingdom of Requiem. Frovar is said to have been instrumental with stopping any attempt by Elves at regaining ground, as well as slaying monsters, and convincing bandit groups to join local town guards instead.
Frovar wouldn't live to see the Lyfelde family unite Requiem, dying fighting a green dragon within what is now Oldspear. Mercy would be laid in the church, granting Oldstones church some renown.
Frovar is worshipped as a minor god of warfare and unity, and asked to guide a path towards compromise or a path towards victory.
