Fighter

Fighters are extraordinarily broad in their role. Some take it to an extreme, becoming forces of martial prowess adept in all manner of weapons. Others are more specific in their craft, taking care to learn specific fighting styles or weapons. Some more mold the idea into their own, becoming unique in their approach through martial or magical means. Fighters often make up the foundation of adventuring group and mercenary companies. But despite what many believe, a fighter isn't anyone who picks up a sword - but often one who masters it. 
During magics early rise many believes the martial fighting style would dissapear. But magical and enchanted items often balanced this out, letting fighters and other martials keep up the pace with some new gadgets and tools.

Historical Fighters 

• Jurgen "Quickdraw" Ziz was a desert halfling of strange form, known for his magical ranged weapons said to be built by the worlds most powerful artificer. It's unsure where Jurgen is now, as his party disbanded after slaying a great beast outside of Spirefalt. 
• Marion "Clean" Tame is a powerful fighter who now leads the Ardent adventuring guild. A skilled shield woman, it's said she's tanked dragon fire head on and lived. Marion has signed over 3 book deals since opening the guild talking not only on her exploits, but how to be a great adventurer. 
• The Hound of Orelin is an unknown helmeted individual that came out on top of multiple tournaments years ago in Vanreth. Said to be unstoppable with his axe, the Hound went on various adventures with a bard who tagged along before disappearing during the demonic invasion of Whitedust.
