Convergence
Convergence is one of the 4 sentient blades crafted by Solaris.
A longsword with a slit down its middle that contains a mirror, this mirror never reflects the material plane but always some other plane of existence that changes as the day goes on. Its gross guard is a simple one, its wrap is pages of a lost tome, and its pommel is shaped as a circle containing an engraved planar map.
Convergence speaks with the voice of a man, a youthful and excited scholar who hunts for knowledge. Convergence bestows wisdom as he travels, and is known to be quite talkative with the saint who holds him. Convergence wants knowledge to be found and protected, and wants secrets to remain that way. It's said Convergence can be used to open planar gates and as a way into the infinite staircase connecting the planes.
Convergence represents the hunt for knowledge, and desire for wisdom - but also that curiosity should be controlled, for not all information is good information. His saints are warrior scholars.
"Convergence show me the path" is a popular turn of phrase in sticky situations. "Convergence help you." Is a popular insult to those deemed dumb.
Convergence is currently within the Hilts Cathedral of Solaris, waiting for a new saint.
