Cleric

Clerics are those absolutely devoted to beings or ideas of incredible power. Not all clerics are devoted to gods, not all devoted to gods are clerics. Instead a cleric is one whose belief and devotion has granted them magical powers, either through the will of the thing they are devoted to, through strange magical circumstances, or through their own unending belief. Clerics are seen as healers and believers, bringing faith and magic to fights. Many in the public overlook clerics or see them as boring, able to get the same kind of devotion in their local churches. But adventurers will say no party is complete without a cleric.

Historical Clerics

• Ulubel "Thunder Smite" was a well known member of the Crystal Vanguard group of adventurers and well known Storm Cleric of Mercy. He helped retake Kingsfall for house Darkhood. His current location is unknown.
• Rotnes Nedra was a drow knowledge domain cleric devoted to the Spider Mother Sidless. Rotnes was instrumental in the War of Old Grudges, due to her stand at defending the library of Old Esari.
• Fanka "Life Touched" was a clerical healer in Vanreth known for her abandoning of her of her family name to instead heal any who needed it during the civil wars. She was devoted to the Bishop.
