The Burning Lands
A semi-legendary land that some Enokai nomads say lie to the east of The Land of Nod. According to their descriptions, the Burning Lands are even harsher than Nod, and even at night your skin will burn. According to other legends, a person can become sick just by standing alone in the desert from old dark magic that can kill people from the inside.
The Enokai believe all magic on Aeryth flows from this land. Few travelers from the Tranquil Coast have been brave enough to go far enough inland to determine whether the Burning Lands exist or not, although their existence would explain why there is no contact with the other side of the continent.
Geography
No one knows for certain, but it is rumored to be a desert so harsh that your skin burns even after the sun goes down. The Blasted Lands are described as a hellscape of active volcanoes that belch out sulphur and choke off almost all life. Open seas of lava and volcanoes have both been described as part of the burning lands, but it is usually described as an unending lifeless plain of rock devoid of any vegetation or animal life.
Fauna & Flora
Nothing is believed to be able to survive in the Burning Lands.
Natural Resources
If the legends of the Enokai are true, it is the font of all magic.
