Daka

The Daka are a small tribe living on an island of the Coast of Ghyr Maeruth. They are known for their frequent visits to the volcanic continent, their tribe-wide use of Pyromancy,and their relationship with the Fyo Tog.

Appearance

Physical

The most noticeable characteristic about the Daka is their skin. It has a reddish tint to it, and some scholars believe it to be due to their long exposure to the volcanic island. Others believe it to be the effect of the constant use of Pyromancy. The Daka usually have dark brown to black hair. They do not get very tall, the average height being around 5'6".

Clothing

The Daka will wear clothing that is either fire resistant, such as leather, or clothing that is good at retaining body heat, like cotton.

Culture

Pyromancy

The Daka tribe are often known as being the original users of Pyromancy. When the members of the tribe reach 16 years of age, they are deemed ready to travel to Mt. Kan for the encounter with the Elemental Warden, the Fyo Tog.
