River Kingdoms

Location: Northern Continent
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

This region is named for a fertile area of the northern continent containing four north to south flowing rivers. The area appears very well suited for habitation and numerous human kingdoms have been started there this age. Most only last a few generations. Most recently the region has been plagued with chaos as several nations have failed. 

The region contains strong elemental nodes and the positive energy plane, but its strongest connection is to the Fae and the chaotic realms (Arboria, Abyss). 

The region is named after its great rivers:

• Dorister River- named after one of the many conquerors of the area. These names seldom stick, as the next would be King changes them. However, King Dorister, who ever he was, had the foresight to create a great stone monolith at the mouth of the River. There he had his likeness and name carved, so the locals continue to use it to refer to this river. 
• Snake River- creatively named for its winding course. 
• Quill River- No one knows why this river is named such, but everyone agrees this is its name. 
• Deep River- Another creatively named river, this is the slowest moving (and presumed deepest) of the four rivers.
