Nine Empires of the Golden Age

There are said to be nine great Empires of the Golden Age (also called the Golden Age of Empires). Scholars differ in there understanding of what constitutes an Empire. Some would argue not all these civilizations are true Empires. Each was a vital part of history.   1. Maer-Bar (Ocean Home)- Four great floating cities were part of a mobile empire of sea elves, humans, and halflings. 2. Lotarwa Aldare Phaya (Garden Forest Soul)- a sprawling high elven civilization that spans several great forests. Usually shortened to Aldara Phaya or to just Aldare. 3. Thalal Fo'Deler Toril (Empire of the Steel Crown) Spanning multiple mountain ranges of the Northern Continent this powerful Dwarven Empire was likely the post powerful nation to ever exist. 4. Anriz Kalur (Sky Throne)- an alliance of flying castles who were powerful merchants and raiders. 5. City States of Tarabari (Sword) A distant warrior empire of united orc, human, and gnoll city states on the West continent. 6. Nadi Debata I'Dari (River Gods Home): Ancient jungle empire where the Shai River Empire currentl exists. Arose out of the area slowly after the Giants were overthrown. Troubled by the murder cult known as the Duvan'Ku early on its its history. Battled with the Rakshasa and the Yuan-ti. Eventually was destroyed in a massive civil war, likely influenced by its two great enemies. 7. Sinhasana Ghora (Throne of the Horse) A distant nomadic Empire of humans in the lost Eastern COntinent. 8. Gedthral Kegeth (Artist Keep): more a nation, this large, productive and advanced nation of gnomes was not necessarily an empire, but literally left their mark on an entire region. 9.Marub'arga'mahana (Dessert Heaven Great) often shortened to Marub'hana or M'hana. This great nation may also not have been an Empire, but its ruins and culture a huge part of the Senpat Empire now. This was the desert nation that preceded.
