Ninja

The Ninja is a term that spread from Rokugan to cover stealth based fighters who strike when their opponents are least prepared. While still primarily a Rokugan role, they can be found throughout the Middle Kingdoms and the Southern Continent, although the actual term Ninja is seldom used.

Proficient: all simple weapons for region plus kama, kukri, nunchaku, sai, short bow, short sword, shuriken, siangham.
Improved Unarmed Strike: as bonus feat, level 1.
Ac bonus: add WIS to AC and every 5 class level +1, you gain this bonus only when wearing no armor, not using a shield and with medium load or lighter. You retain this bonus as long as you retain your DEX bonus.
Ki power: can use ki power # of times = ½ character level + WIS. While having at least one use left gains +2 bonus on will saves. Ki Powers are activated as a free action unless otherwise stated.
Bonus Feat: choose any martial art style feat, kiho feat, unarmed combat feat or ambush feat.
Poison Use: you may apply poison without chance of mishap.
Sudden strike: bonus damage to melee and ranged attacks if within 30’, if the opponent is denied their DEX to AC. Like sneak attack this is precision damage, unlike sneak attack it does not apply when flanking an enemy.
Ghost step: ki power allows invisibility for one round as swift action with no AoO. At 10th level ninja can become ethereal.
Great leap: always makes jump checks as if running start. Acrobatics: bonus to climb, jump, and tumble, you may also choose to use DEX in place of STR for jump and climb checks.
Disguise: bonus to disguise checks, you may choose to use INT in place of CHA to modify disguise checks.
Evasion: any time a reflex save would indicate ½ damage, a successful save does no damage. Improved evasion: You take only ½ damage on a failed reflex save.
Speed climb: You can climb at ½ instead of ¼ speed. If you both begin and end your turn on flat ground, you may climb at full movement rate.
Fast Stealth: no penalty for normal movement and hide and move silently checks.
See in Darkness (Ki Power): as a standard action, use one ki power use to gain the ability to see in complete darkness, including magical darkness normally out to a range of 60’. This ability lasts for rounds = to class level.
Ghost strike (ki power): use one ki power to be able to hit foe on ethereal plane or material plane when ninja is on ethereal until the start of your next turn.
Improved poison use: applying poison is a move action.
Ghost mind: Can only be target of scrying with caster check DC 20 + ninja level.
Ghost sight: See invisible or ethereal creatures.
Ghost Walk: two ki uses to use ethereal jaunt spell at the caster level equal to class level.
Hide In Plain Sight: in any terrain may hide without cover or concealment even if observed.
