The Way North

This quiet respite was a welcome surprise. A warm glow fills the abode and notes of sweet incense are just present and mixes well with the sea spray that hangs over the northern portion of Sandpoint.
As with several other buildings in the vicinity, this one-story structure was recently rebuilt after the Sandpoint Fire. Originally a stable, the building has been converted by its owner, an aged but spry gnome named VEZNUTT PAROOOH (NG Male Gnome Wizard), into a cramped and cluttered library to house his tremendous collection of maps and sea charts. Maps of local regions, from the immediate vicinity up to the whole of Varisia and the Storval Plateau, can be purchased from him for prices ranging from 15 gp to 150 gp, depending on the size and level of detail. When not here crafting copies of old maps, Veznutt can usually be found arguing over history with his best friend Ilsoari at Turandarok Academy and openly confides in you that, besides Ilsoari, you are the only person in town at the moment he finds worthy of conversation - not in a mean-spirited sense, mind you. He prefers to surround himself with things of the past and those of like minds.
