Echoes of Thassilon (Tier 1)

You draw upon the forgotten magic of Thassilon, conjuring echoes of ancient spells from the Runelords themselves.
Prerequisite: Expert in Arcana, Thassilonian Specialist
Action: Free Action, Trigger: You cast a spell using a spell slot.
Effect: When you cast a spell, you may summon a fragment of Thassilonian magic. Choose one of the following effects:

• Destructive Echo: The spell deals 2d8 additional damage per spell level to one target of your choice.
• Lingering Echo: The spell’s duration is increased by 2 rounds.
• Empowered Echo: The spell’s range is doubled, or its area increases by one increment (or 15 feet, whichever is larger).

Sin’s Ascendancy (Tier 2)

Your mastery of sin magic has reached such heights that you can briefly embody the power of a Runelord.
Prerequisite: Thassilonian Specialist, Master in Arcana
Action: 2 Actions
Effect: You channel the essence of your associated sin magic for 1 minute, gaining the following benefits:

• Spells from your sin school gain a +2 status bonus to attack rolls and DCs.
• You can cast any spell from your school as a Focus Spell, even if it isn’t currently prepared. Focus Points for these spells do not recover during this duration.
• Enemies that critically fail a save against one of your sin magic spells are Frightened 2.

Special: This ability can only be used once per day.

Runeforge Adept (Tier 3)

You have attuned yourself to the Runeforge’s unique power, allowing you to manipulate the fabric of magic itself.
Prerequisite: Thassilonian Specialist, Legendary in Arcana
Action: 3 Actions
Effect: For 1 minute, you are infused with the power of the Runeforge, allowing you to use the following abilities:

• Runeforge Suppression: When you cast a spell, choose one magical effect or item within 30 feet. Its effects are suppressed for 1 round.
• Runeforge Amplification: Once per turn, when casting a spell, you can spend an additional action to cause the spell to gain the Heightened (+1) effect, even if the spell is already at its maximum heightening.
• Runeforge Feedback: Enemies that counteract your spells take 3d8 force damage per spell level.

Timeless Sage (Tier 4)

Your studies of Thassilonian magic and time itself grant you mastery over your personal timeline.
Prerequisite: Thassilonian Specialist, Sin’s Ascendancy
Action: Reaction, Trigger: You fail a saving throw, take critical damage, or die.
Effect: You rewind your timeline by 6 seconds (1 round), undoing the triggering event and all actions you took during your previous turn. You can take your turn again immediately, using different actions if desired.
Special: You can only use this ability once per day, as the strain on the timeline is immense.
