Broly was a down-on-his luck clanless dwarf from southern Garund. Found to be a drunk and delinquent early in his life, he would find himself drinking himself pickled listening to the outlandish stories of far-off travelers that frequented the Dunguni ale houses.
A runic-tattooed dwarf entered the pub one day and changed his life, though. His stories were not of far-off and fantastic tales, but of a local hero that seemed to ooze hope and emanate purity.
For weeks, the new dwarf drank and yarned, all the while Broly hung on his every word.
How amazing; a broken, enslaved, clanless, worthless dwarf miraculously saved by a single simple woman. Well, not simple, obviously - but just a person.
Broly's world turned upside-down and he vowed to pledge himself to the ventures of this heroic woman - this redeemer of dwarfs.
If she could reconcile a broken berzerker, surely she could help Broly as well?!
