Khoth (kôTH)

An ancient entity of the Evernight tied to the Shadow Stone in a similar way that the Elven god was tied to the Soul Stone. With its soul within the Shadow Stone, it cannot be killed. It can control/command/observe through creatures it has connected to their Shadow Stone. To control/command, Khoth must be in contact with the Shadow Stone or be locally present. It can observe through them at will. 
Khoth also has a small host of lieutenants called khothvan that can control/command hoards locally. When forces are spread over distances, Khoth relies on delegating through his khothvan. 
Once the Elves arrived to the Material Plane and established their dominance, they discovered Khoth. Upon Khoth's devourment of elven souls, its power grew. Resulting in it hungering for the light of souls, especially ones tied to the Soul Stone. They give Khoth strength to expand its influence. Khoth unleashed a full assault on the elves, nearly wiping them out. The elves partnered with the dragons to combat Khoth and eventually trapped Khoth between planes using a form of High Magic.
